The World Ski Awards – Winners from the Tarentaise, France.
Last weekend saw the unveiling of the world’s finest ski tourism brands at a prestigious awards ceremony in Kitzbuhel.
If you are looking for inspiration on where to ski in France this year, why not check out the word on the street from the World Ski Awards.
Winners at the ceremony included Europe’s highest resort, Val Thorens, (pictured above) voted ‘Worlds Best Ski Resort’ thanks to its vast network of snow sure slopes.
In the Newcomer categories, Fahrenheit Seven, Courchevel was crowned the ‘World’s Best New Ski Hotel’ and the unrivalled ski-in, ski-out experience of Chalet des Cascades in Les Arcs won ‘Worlds Best New Ski Chalet’.
Sunweb, who offer holidays across the Tarentaise were recognised as the ‘World’s Best Ski Tour Operator’ and Leo Trippi was awarded the ‘World’s Best Ski Travel Agent’
A huge congratulations to our partner The Alpine Club whose chalet The Ecurie was nominated for France’s Best Ski Chalet. It was Consenio’s Flagship Chalet Marco Polo, Val D’Isere who scooped the award!
Well done everyone for these amazing achievements! We wish you all the best for the winter season.
