Paradiski La Plagne

Ski Hire Delivery Area

Staying in La Plagne? Your ski and snowboard hire equipment will be delivered and fitted by the Rental Republic team at a time that suits you, so you can relax while you wait for our technicians to come to you.
Even for those of you staying in one of the many surrounding villages that make up the larger resort, our efficient in-chalet ski hire fitting service will guarantee you’ll be ready to hit the slopes for your first day on the mountain…no long queues and no hassle in resort, just winter sports, mountain food and stunning scenery!

Resort Information

La Plagne is one half of the recently integrated skiing area of Paradiski, linked by the revolutionary high-speed 200-person cable car, the Vanoise Express, which transports skiers across the valley between La Plagne (Montchavin-Les Coches) and Les Arcs (Peisey-Vallandry). Paradiski is one of the largest ski areas in the world, with over 400km of serviced runs.

Within the La Plagne boundaries are 10 resort villages, all with their own character and importantly their own facilities. Spread across the mountain, they are linked by efficient lift services. The sheer scale of the resort makes our personal service of delivering and fitting your ski and snowboard equipment in the comfort of your chalet all the more desirable, eliminating the hassle of trekking to a ski hire shop, meaning you can spend more time on the slopes! Our service covers the following La Plagne resorts; Montchavin / Les Coches, Plagne Centre, Plagne Village, La Plagne 1800, Belle Plagne, Plagne Bellecôte and Aime La Plagne.

Resort Information

With the majority of runs between 2000m and 2700m, you will truly feel on top of the world in La Plagne. There is a wealth of excellent skiing from miles of cruisy blues and reds to practice on and even, if you’re feeling brave, lots of gentle off piste to try out tucked between the marked runs.

La Plagne is a vast state-of-the-art ski area that covers 220km of groomed pistes, serviced by 108 lifts. The 132 runs range from the top of the Bellecote glacier at 3417m to the tree lined slopes of the lower villages at 1250m. There are some good beginners slopes with free drag lifts and gentle gradients; plus some superb and testing black runs, and the off-piste is extensive and rarely ‘tracked out’.

Looking For Off-Piste?

For the more committed www.pistehors.com has this to say; ‘the area features some of the planet’s most awesome off-piste skiing..’ Warm up with a vertical drop of 2000 metres, before heading off to find some powder. Once you’ve explored the black runs and enjoyed the mogul fields, why not book a guide for the day and have an off-piste adventure in the beautiful and unspoilt Ponturin Valley, via the unrivalled routes of the Bellecote’s spectacular North Face.

Lift Passes

Visitors can choose to buy a lift pass for just the Montchavin-Les Coches area; for La Plagne; or for unlimited access to both La Plagnes and Les Arcs, the Paradiski pass. Alternatively you can choose the Paradiski Discovery Ski Pass, which gives you 6 to 8 day pass for La Plagne with one Paradiski day in Les Arcs. The La Plagne and Paradiski passes also cover you for a day’s skiing in the neighbouring resorts of the Three Valleys, Val d’Isere, and Tignes.
