Resort Information
Montchavin is a bustling, charming village with cobbled streets and traditional stone and slate houses. It is home to the unique Vanoise Express cable car, built in 2003 which links La Plagne with Les Arcs, and is capable of carrying 200 people the 4 mins from one resort to the other.
Montchavin/Les Coches are part of the Paradiski Area with access to 425km of downhill skiing, 475 individual pistes, served by 141 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Montchavin-Les Coches itself, the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Paradiski ski resorts of La Plagne, Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry.
With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.
New this season is the indoor heated swimming pool located next to the Montchavin chairlift.

Montchavin-Les Coches is able to augment natural snow, on 50km of ski runs, with 277 Snow Cannons.
Ski Lift Capacity
The 20 Ski Lifts of Montchavin-Les Coches are able to uplift 120,600 skiers / snowboarders per hour.
